Updated: Dec 16, 2020

Here We Explain How and Why It's Important to Inspect Your Gutters

Above A #Gutter is overflowing Water into a #Flooding Garage

#Florida Experiences more rain than 45 other states in the country. Its Tropical Climate seems to pour large amounts of water from the sky fast! That is why Your Drainage and Gutters must be frequently inspected.

  1. Check For Clogs-Frequently Inspect Functionally Of Gutters Checking for obvious signs of clogging such as debris from trees, roof shingles and pest. Inspect downspouts for proper flow and flush with a garden hose if needed.

  2. Check For Leaks- Checking for Obvious leaks where water may be escaping it route to the downspout is important. Repair with a Replacement or gutter sealant as needed.

  3. Check Structure- Confirm Gutters are not sagging from loose fasteners. Check for proper pitch and water flow to designated downspout drains.

  4. Check Downspout Locations- Confirm downspouts are allowing water to drain from property and not collect against homes and landscapes resulting to flooding.

Frequently check your gutters to prevent the possible problem of a flooding garage like presented in the video above. Even a partially clogged gutter system can quickly overflow with water in result of a flash flood thunderstorm.
